Have you considered supporting ChildrenUP in your estate plan?

We invite you to support Children UP in our mission to strengthen the spirit of the people of northern Uganda from the Children UP. Your gift can make a dramatic difference in a child’s life.

It is easy!

Children UP can be identified as a beneficiary in your Will or Trust, or on your life insurance policy. Children UP can also be named as a beneficiary on your IRA, 401(k), or other account.

It is flexible!

In most cases, beneficiary designations can be changed during the account owner’s lifetime at any time for any reason. And you can determine what portion of any account might be directed to Children UP. Even directing 5% or 10% towards our charitable work will make a profound impact.

It is important!

By supporting Children UP, your bequest will help Ugandan students throughout their high school education. You will provide those students with the opportunity not only to improve their lives, but also to make a difference in their community.

Your gift can be the start of a ripple effect, where the endless ripple might lead to great things. Perhaps a student you supported will become a doctor who finds a cure for malaria or for AIDS, or a teacher who leads others to learning. Your support can help us in our mission to help Ugandan children strengthen hopes into realities.

What should I do now?

If you would like to include us as part of your estate plan, just call or email us. We can provide you with the information your attorney, accountant, or financial advisor might need in order to properly identify Children UP as a beneficiary to receive a portion, or all, of any account you might choose.

Also, a member of the Children UP Board of Directors is a Certified Financial Planner. He is available to meet with you and your advisors without charge to make sure your vision of a bequest to Children UP is handled professionally and accurately.
