A ChildrenUP student wrote a poem we share with you.
Thank you for believing in the power of education.

From Nowhere to Somewhere

ChildrenUp, ChildrenUP, ChildrenUP,
Oh, ChildrenUP
I was hidden and nowhere to be seen
Was helpless and hopeless of anything in life
With lots of tears and lots of loads to carry,
When I thought of no future and no further education.

ChildrenUp, ChildrenUP, ChildrenUP,
You came by my side
You wiped away my tears,
You showed me a future and advised me
How I can reach there.
And now I have hope in my future.
I can also now feel that I am helpful.
Stand by my side.

ChildrenUp, ChildrenUP, ChildrenUP,
If indeed there was any way I can thank you, I would have.
But all in all, saying thank you is not enough but will help.
What will help most is to pray
That the Almighty God bless you abundantly.
