Edward Rebek
Ed received his BFA from Northern Illinois University in 1982. A few years later his wife, Joanne and Ed started a firm in Chicago called JOED Design Inc. As Creative Director, he steered JOED's development of branding and package design for global companies, such as: Unilever, Bosch, Rust-Oleum. In 2017, they sold the business and retired to Michigan where they have established themselves as regional artists.
During the years at JOED, Ed became involved doing pro bono work for charities, including American Heart Association and Infant Welfare Society of Chicago. In 2007, Ed joined the board of Solidarity Bridge and the following year went on a medical mission to Bolivia. In 2009, he ran into Charlie Laliberte, his high school art teacher, and Charlie talked of his work with ChildrenUP. That year, Ed designed the CUP brand and developed marketing materials for the organization. In 2011, Ed joined the board of ChildrenUP and have supported the group by developing marketing materials.
