William Lyman
Bill has 40 years of management experience in railway operations, including chief transportation officer for both US and Mexican Railways.
He earned a BS degree in Agriculture, a teaching certificate in vocational agriculture, and an MA degree in Agricultural Economics from Washington State University.
Bill and Linda have contributed to Children Up since 2009. He joined the financial advisory committee in 2020 and the Children Up board in 2021. He draws on his brief educational background and his US and foreign management experience to help the board on financial and foreign management issues.
Now retired, Bill has been involved in several volunteer efforts including Rotary where he helped organize humanitarian projects in Northern Mexico on behalf of the Rotary clubs of Elmhurst, IL and Monterrey, NL Mexico.
