A Tale of Two Dorothys

Today we celebrate the connection that Dorothy Valintis, a founding member of ChildrenUP, created with our first beneficiary.  Though she never had the chance to visit Uganda, Dorothy became a mentor to Nancy as she began her university studies.  Over the years they shared many thoughts and established a strong bond.
 
Before she passed away, Dorothy was thrilled to know that Nancy felt so connected with her that Nancy named her youngest daughter, Dorothy.  
She would be thrilled to know that young Dorothy is thriving and doing well.
 
This is a ChildrenUP connection that lives on.   We are equally proud to keep in touch with Nancy and her two daughters.
